My name is Zahra
I'm a certified Expressive Movement Facilitator through The Movement Arc, ISMETA Associate Somatic Movement Professionals (ASMP), currently working towards certification Somatic Movement therapy through the Tamalpa Life/Art Process. My heart’s desire is to facilitate a safe ground where unbound expression thrive.
I envision a community where every part of us is acknowledged , embraced and integrated including the darker aspects. Imagine, giving a spotlight to the wide range of our feelings allowing them to be expressed, seen, heard, until integrated. Through our bodies, voices, and thoughts, we engage in a dialogue with these emotions, nurturing a deeper connection with ourselves and others.
Let’s dance it, feel it inwardly, and express it outwardly. There is no goal to "dance it off" unless that emotion itself wants to be released. For once in life, we can set aside the need for a specific outcome and instead explore and embrace our wholeness playfully. Our wholeness including both light and darkness, vulnerability and strength. We are a collection of shapes and forms, moving through space at different paces, weights, flow and sizes. We are here to explore these dimensions, so we can feel more whole.
So, yes, my dream is to co-create a space where we can safely and playfully explore, allowing us to be unbound in our experience and expression of this life.
